'eudaemonia' explains why things fulfil their potential and flourish, according to the philosopher Aristotle (384-322BCE).
Aristotle was the father of modern science but did not believe that simple explanations can account for the sheer beauty, abundance and efficiency we see all around us, not least in human beings. He argued that things are more complex, that almost unmeasurable factors are at work when things are really good.
Aristotle was also a great teacher. Alexander the Great was his pupil. As a teacher Aristotle believed in nurturing the whole person.
"Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts."

eudaemonia conferences aim to help schools, teachers and young people to develop a broader view of education. We provide the opportunity for managers and teachers to reflect on what they want to achieve and the practical tools to help them to promote and deliver the less easily measurable aspects of education. We run conferences which aim to inspire and enthuse teachers, helping them tohelp students to love learning for its own sake. eudaemonia conferences is run by teachers and for teachers - unlike bigger training companies, we understand the demands of the job.
